Bali Tour 2 : Sanur - Kuta - Jimbaran / Nusa Dua - Seminyak

If you are a beach person, Bali has many beautiful beaches.
And guess what...you can take Bali Tour Sanur-Kuta-Nusa Dua-Jimbaran-Seminyak.

Starting your day early in the morning, you will be amazed to see the beauty of our Universe King aka SUN when he wakes up and starts rising.
Actually you can enjoy the sun rise anywhere and in any part of this world, however you can't compare it with Sanur Beach. It's really beautiful.
After the sun is rising, it's time to have breakfast.
My uncle suggests to have warm breakfast such as Indonesian Chicken Porridge or Chicken Soto near the beach.

After your stomach is full, aren't you tempted to swim before it's getting hot...
But wait a minute...I have something for you...SEA WALKER...
I have posted the information previously about SEA WALKER.
You must DIE DIE try this activity....you won't be understand what I feel until you really experience it...It's really worth of money and you will never forget for the rest of your life.

SEA WALKER takes about 1.5 hours and it's really tiring eventhough you think that you don't make a lot of exercises under the sea and after showering, your stomach will ask for fuels.
Don't worry, the hotel will provide buffet lunch where you can enjoy Authentic Balinese Food.

After your stomach can't take any food, it's time to relax...
Kuta is nice place for sun tan, relaxing, massage,or even play with the sand and naughty sea waves.
Three hours will past very fast and when you open your eyes, you can see that it's time for the King of Universe to sleep.
Is your stomach craving for the seafood?

If yes, let's go to Jimbaran - Nusa Dua...
Here, you can pamper yourself with delicious and fresh SEAFOOD, there are many restaurants serve fresh seafood by the beach.
So, what do you need to do when you arrive?
Pick one of the restaurants, choose the fresh fishes, prawns, crabs or other sea creatures that you like and tell them how you want them to be cooked.
Ok, your task is done and next, find the empty table near the beach.
If you bring your special one, it's really the perfect place to propose to her.
However, if you are with the group of friends, you still can enjoy the food and ambience.

The food is coming....and Bon Appetit...
While you enjoy the best seafood, there will be a "moving" entertainment by Acoustic Beach Boys. You can request your favorite songs to them.
I believe after you experience it, you will say....
I would never ever forget this place...

After dinner, don't know where to go but still want to enjoy the beach?
Don't worry, let me bring you to SEMINYAK.
One of my favorite places is KU DE TA Restaurant and Bar.
When you come here, don't be surprised if it's always full during the weekend.
The place is really nice, cozy where you can unwind near the beach.
They provide bed sofa facing the beach with candle lights around...
Just order the wine or champagne and enjoy it. Don't need to have so much conversation just enjoy the night.
You can stay there until early in the morning.

Wow...24 hours is still not enough for you ?
hehehe...it's time to go back to your room and have a tight good night sleep...

Bali Tour 1 : Ubud and Sukawati

If you have a high sense of art and really have passions in art, traditional and culture, I suggest you to take this Bali Tour Ubud-Sukawati for the day.

Ubud is where you can see how the artists do their homework with passion.
You can watch them painting the beautiful picture, craving beautiful sculpture, making handicrafts from coconut shell, woods, rattans, glass, candle and many more.
I believe 2 hours will not be enough for you to see how passionate they are in making beautiful handicrafts.

You will be tempted to get few products made by them, however it's not the right place. They only make from raw materials until final products. If you wish to have their handicrafts there is a special market where you can shop the art and crafts until you drop, which is SUKAWATI.
But wait a minute....don't you feel hungry after walking around ?
Let's take a break...

There's a traditional Balinese favorite food where you can't get the perfect taste in anywhere like this, BABI GULING or ROASTED PIG.The skin is so crispy and delicious, you can enjoy it anywhere you like if you take away the food.
For me, I choose the small hut near the rice field, while I am enjoying my Babi Guling, I'm also enjoying how beautiful the rice field with the feeling the breeze and hearing bird chirping. And...you can say LIFE IS SO GOOD...
and of course yes it is.

After your stomach is fulled, it's time to shop.
As mentioned, Sukawati is another favorite place. Sukawati is a big market place where sells many art and craft products, you can choose whatever you like to decor your house from living room, bed room, bath room, kitchen, and study room.
Warning.....you must bargain the price, please bargain 50% from the offered price.
If you lucky enough you could get the goods very cheap.
You don't need to worry if they cheat or do hard sell, Balinese people are very nice and friendly so you are saved :)

Ok, after your wallet is empty, let's move on. I don't want you to be in debt by buying all products that you want haha...
It's time to go back to wherever you stay and dream about BABI GULING...oh I love it...

New Bali Adventures

For those who like Adventures Sport and Experience, there are two suggestions for what things to do in Bali.

1. Sea Walker @ Sanur

Try this and you will be amazed how God creates every creature even the smallest one, it's really beautiful.
Starting from the briefing at Santrian Resort, you will be brought to the sea by speedboat. From there, you will be going down to the bottom of the sea and wearing special helmet for your Oxigent.
When you are in the bottom of the sea, you could feel as you are in the giant aquarium. You can touch the fishes, corals and really close with them.
It's really beautiful and can't describe with any words.
What you can do is just experience that, feel it and you will smile after that.

2. Bali Treetop @ Bedugul Botanical Garden

For those like a challenging sport or something different, try this Bali Treetop.
It really makes your heart beat becomes faster and faster...but waittt...that's not the point, for every track you will need a courage.
There are 6 different levels with different difficulty and height.
You can start from the lower or medium level.
Oh ya, they will train you first before you jump in to the real track.
So don't worry, what you need is COURAGE

A Must Visit.....

Some MUST Visit Places of interest in Bali

1. Kuta Beach
Once a lonely little village on the road from Denpasar to Bukit Peninsula, Kuta is now the tourist mecca of Bali, popular mainly among the young and adventurous. Coconut trees line the sand beach as far as the eyes can see towards the north stopped by the runway of Denpasar's airport far in the west. The Sunset in Kuta is most breathtaking.

The street of Legian, situated directly behind the row of hotels that face the beach, is lined with shops of all varieties. You can find any Balinese handicrafts here, from the least expensive to the most exquisite; or unique stores such as the leather store staffed by two young Balinese men that will perfectly sculpt for you a leather jacket. (They are all extremely talented artists, remember?)

At night, Kuta is alive with night life. Western influences create discotheques, dance clubs, and pubs. Gastronomical demands inspire a multitude of restaurants, serving traditional Indonesian and Balinese food to various ethnic meals from Japan, Switzerland, etc. As if these were not enough, various Balinese dance performances are staged in Kuta every night. One of the best Kecak performances is to be found in Kuta.

2. Tanah Lot
One of Bali's most important sea temples, Tanah Lot temple is built atop a huge rock, surrounded by the sea. Build in the 16th century, Tanah Lot's rituals include paying of homage to the guardian spirits of the sea. Poisonous sea snakes found in the little caves at the base of the rocky island are believed to guard the temple from evil spirits and intruders

3. Puri Besakih
The sanctuary of Besakih on the slopes of Gunung Agung (Mount Holy) is over a thousand years old and is known as the Mother Temple of Bali, the biggest and holiest of all Balinese temples. Steps rise through split gates to the main courtyard where the Trinity shrines, dedicated to Shiva, Brahma, and Wishnu, are wrapped in cloth and decorated with flower offerings. Around them, stand eighteen separate sanctuaries, belonging to different regencies and castes.

4. Bedugul
The mountain resort of Bedugul is well known for its golf course and Ulun Danu, a temple which seems to rise out of the lake to present itself beautifully. Boats, water skiing, and parasailing are among the many watersports available in this area

5. KintamaniThe villages of Kintamani and Penelokan give a view of the active Mount Batur and its lake. Seven miles in diameter and sixty feet deep, the caldera of Batur is pretty impressive. From Penelokan, a road lead to Kediasan on the shores of the lake where boats can be rented to cross over to Trunyan

6. Tampak Siring
Pura Tirta Empul is the temple of Tampak Siring, built around a sacred spring. The temple and its two bathing places have been used by the Balinese for over 1000 years for good health and prosperity; the spring water has curative powers. Regular purification ceremonies take place here. Additionally, the people of Tampak Siring produce artistic bone and ivory carvings

7. Sangeh
The ten acres of nutmeg trees in the Sangeh forest are considered sacred. Two temples stand in the middle of the forest, and another at the edge. Monkeys heavily inhabit this forest, and are also held sacred. They will come to you when you visit the temples. Make sure you protect your handbags, etc as the monkeys will steal them.

8. Ubud
Ubud is the art center of Bali, which maybe a hard concept to understand, given the artistic nature of the entire living in Bali. But the Raja of Ubud, historically, strongly encouraged artistic development, especially in painting. Ubud's Museum "Puri Lukisan" houses a permanent collection of Balinese paintings, dating from the turn of the century. Dutchborn Hans Snel and American Atonio Blanco, among other internationally prominent artists, had both called Ubud their home.

The Neka Museum is another excellent museum, with marvelous collections of traditional Balinese paintings by local artists as well as foreign artists who lived in Bali.

Ubud today expands to other arts. You should not be surprised to run into a foreigner who happens to be living in Ubud, meditating or soul searching for his next book or poetry collection. Most hotels in Ubud are small, homely hotels and homestays that will provide you with a room that faces the ricefields with bird sonatas togently wake you in the morning.

Those are very beautiful places for those who like the mixture between beach and mountain....modern and classic...entertainment and art...

WHEN YOU MISS YOUR " ANCESTORS ", SANGEH

When you miss your "ancestors" and want to meet them hehe..just kidding, you can visit Sangeh.
Yes, sangeh is a tourism attraction when you can play wildly with monkeys. The monkeys live wildly in the forest. There are so many types monkeys. Some are polite ones and some are playful ones. So be careful..sometimes, they are also annoying and don't be surprised when they take your stuffs without asking your permission. It reminds me to Visa card advertisement with Zeta Jones as a star hehe..
So my suggestions, please don't bring any valuables things including the camera.
It's really interesting experience for those who like animal and want to play wildly with them.

NIGHT LIFE ENTERTAINMENT, KUTA

Hi guyz...who can't live without night life entertainment.
Don't worry...this is a great place to experience night life entertainment.
There are many clubs, pubs and bars with live entertainment in Kuta
You can chat with your friends, make new friends and minggle around with others even if you are lucky enough you can find your life partner or business partner, haha..
My favorite place is Paddy's Bar, where the location is near the zero ground bali bombing few years ago. The place is just great not so small and not so crowded, it's just nice and accompanied with live music. Most of the pubs, bars or clubs are open until late night.
Something you need to know, that zero ground bali bombing now become another tourist attraction especially for Australians since most of them are the victims. From the people's story, when the tragedy happened there was a small temple that still stand there until now. Believe it or not...you still can see until now while the surrounding is just ground.

IT'S TIME FOR SHOPPING, ISLAND WIDE

For those who are shopacholics, this is a great place to shop as well.
There are branded goods and handmade art crafts even in the flea market you can find many fake branded goods.
Some branded goods can be found in more high class shopping centre like Kuta Gallery, Kuta Square. For handmade art crafts, almost every where you can find it, however if you want to get the wholesale price, please drop by to Sukawati Market or if you love to see the process of making handmade art craft, you are welcomed to visit Ubud region.
Most of the art crafts are exported to Europe, Australia and America. They are made from rattan, wood, sea shell, coconut shell. And there are many varieties from Dinning set, Tea set, Wall decoration, home decoration, stationery, fashion accessories
For those swimming or beach lover, there are many varieties of bikini and swim suits with attractive color and model and of course with affordable price.

ROMANTIC CANDLE LIGHT DINNER, JIMBARAN

For couples who want to have quiet time together while enjoying the food and the beautiful scenery. I suggest you to drop by at Jimbaran beach in the evening. It's a must....
This place really can make your day unforgettable. When you arrive, you will see many small stalls that sell live seafood, most of them have the same owner. You can choose the seafood you like and they will cook them according to your requests.
After ordering, there will be a waiter that guide you to the table. Most of the tables are with the candle and facing the beach so you can enjoy how's beautiful the beach. While you are waiting for the food, there are some people will entertain you with guitar and sing for you.
After your dinner ending, you can walk along the beach and feel the sea breeze.
It's really a perfect candle light dinner with delicious food, nice ambience and accompanied by a lover.

HEAVENLY FOOD DINNING EXPERIENCE

There are many varieties of cuisines in Bali from Indonesian, Chinese, Japanese and Korea, Australian, European, American, and other Asian including the fusion between Eastern and Western cuisine.
Indonesian food is usually influenced by Bali and Javanesse culture and the most popular are Suckling pig ( Babi guling ) and Taliwang chicken ( ayam taliwang ) which originally come from Lombok. The suckling pig is crispy outside and delicioun inside on the other hand taliwang chicken is small chicken that has soft bone.
Chinese food itself is also influenced by Indonesian taste and the favorite one is chicken noodle and some beef noodle. Beef is not so popular here because of the religious and culture reason.
There are many restaurants that have their uniqueness in menu, concept or interior design. Most of them still appreciate the Bali culture therefore they use wooden concept and traditional music. It 's really great experience to enjoy the food with perfect ambience and good hospitality.
